PLEASE CALL BEFORE ORDERING TO VERIFY THAT THERE'S ROOM AVAILABLE.

Save the date for a rare opportunity to learn authentic 'Inner Door' Taoist 'Jibengong', or 'Body-Skills' that will help open the energy gates of your body; the words 'Kai-Men' mean 'Opening the Gates'.

Many of the “higher-level” drills in the Internal Arts are kept secret and "inner-door", because they train the specific "body-skills" that are the secret to the arts success (ie. martial effectiveness).   The “Kai-Men” exercises are an important and essential aspect of Jibengong; this series of stretching and body-opening drills will lead to more efficient body-movement, no matter what style of martial arts you practice.

Anyone who practices this Kai-Men series for the traditional 100 days can expect to experience profound changes in the quality of their body-movement.

Saturday 10a-12p & 2p-4p
Sunday 2p-4p

Training is intensive and intended for those interested in developing internal power  -  you must have a good general fitness level to attend this seminar.

About the Instructor

Michael Phillips has been practicing and teaching Tai Chi and related Chinese energy development practices for more than thirty years, beginning his training in 1971 in the richly traditional environment of New York City Chinatown. He is a certified instructor in Tai Chi, Iron Shirt Chi Kung, and Taoist Microcosmic Meditation, Inner Smile Meditation, and Six Healing Sounds Chi Kung.

Known for his ability to provide clear and precise instruction on the Chinese energy work process, bridging the gap between East and West, traditional and modern, he has given many seminars on Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and other forms of Chinese energy work both in the U.S. and abroad.

"The Southern Arizona Adventure Company Jr Division is a collection of fun, adventurous people in their 20's and 30's who like to have a good time. We don't specialize in any one genre, our membership has full say in what events we plan along with organizer ideas! You can belong to both this group and the regular SAAC. When you turn 40, you have to 'graduate' into the regular SAAC unless your significant other is still in their 30's."
