Fri. Mar. 25/Sat. Mar. 26: Began with rocking exercise - concentrated on not shifting weight and keeping "iron buddha" - doing a better job of not recruiting leg muscles and focusing on feeling the tension come up the body, making smaller movements. Bitter Pill - Friday felt very loose and felt i was condensing well on the downward movements, felt the structure was supporting the body and felt very present, trying to identify elastic feeling when condensing ball ( do feel a sort of expansive feeling around the bones and just under skin surface at times). Not sure that i'm reaching fajin state, but do notice a very "filling" pressure that wants to go all the way up the body when dropping the ball, try to keep it from going higher than the xiphoid tip. Hand circling exercises - these stances are helping me to understand the functionality of the alignment better i believe, and i feel that my alignment is better during these exercises than when in resting posture. Friday felt good throughout the movement but tonight had some shoulder tension at the top of the circles (mind jumping from alignment point to alignment point and not keeping open awareness). note: take the functional state from ready posture to standing and resting postures for chikung also, stop thinking.
