When practicing the back slap bear slap I was feeling a stretch in my lower abs on the side of the body that I was stepping towards while twisting the hips before the front of the chest moves. I don't think I had ever noticed this before and/or maybe I'm doing it differently now. Is this part of what we want to feel when doing this exercise?
Also, when I would then try to move the center of the chest to move the arm in the backslap I would feel the stretch on the outer abs, I thought we wanted to feel the stretch on that side of the body after the center line moved to do the back slap and while it was continuing to move to perform the bear slap.
Thirdly, what should the quality of the arms be when doing this exercise?
