Thur./Fri. 31-1: Rocking exercise on Thursday prior to bitter pill 3x5 and circling hands on both sides. Very much tension and was not able to soften enough to get to the bones. Worked mostly on correcting alignment to Sifu's observations and being loose, had spurts of fluidity and looseness but for the most part couldn't settle down enough to relax. Noticing that it's difficult for me to keep 9 solid 1 empty unless I have relaxed and loosened enough, otherwise it's the opposite, 9 empty 1 solid. However, as the sessions went on i could notice marked improvement in softness and relaxation. Perhaps expecting to be in proper state right off the bat isn't realistic. note: ability to let go and loosen/relax seems to be day to day, need to find a way to consistency
