Mon. Jan. 30: Beginning to see readiness. Neutral is neutral... there's nothing else to do from neutral except for the movement. If I have to change in order to move, or... if something has to be done... then i am not within neutral, and my movement is contrived. Keeping the balance beam line is crucial for me because my (all of them) psoas muscles are a joke, they are stiff as a dead person's. If I'm not on the balance beam line then there is no yin and yang for me, period. Anyhow, readiness begins at the center of the hip.. or maybe that's where it ends up, I'm not sure. The spirals create readiness and neutrality it seems. Turning from the bottom of the feet and up through the body, through the kua to the shoulder kuas and release.... and readiness is there. So I'm thinking that neutral is ready... and ready is present... like when Sigung says "already there", there's nothing left to do.
