How Did They Feel?

When Sifu Kelley was visiting in Nashville, one of the things he told me to start noticing when I touch hands with high level players is to pay attention to how they feel. Here is a video of me playing push hands with Mr. Fenway Yang. The video has been edited, so it does not show the places where I was trying to move Fenway with no luck at all. He felt like a brick wall, but his muscles were never tensed. Sometimes I felt as if I were stuck to him and could not get away, but I never felt like a vice grip even when he did grab me. It was a much very different feeling than when I practiced with one of the Shaolin students during the Seminar who had a very "nice" Tiger's Claw... (hurt like hell when he grabbed my triceps!)
