Last night I did 36 minutes of bear standing with a movie playing, "The Reign of Assassins." I am going to make an effort to not watch movies while I do bear standing, but I may try to do some wiki standing when I watch movies. I think it would be much more beneficial than lounging around, unless I really need to rest & relax.

This morning I felt a lot of anxiety on my way to the gym to train a new client that I have only been training for about a week now. I really want to see some fast results with her, but she is not at all strong.I am sure killing her with cardio would show immediate results on the scale and her waistline, but she will gain all of the weight right back when she goes on vacation in July. So my goal is to put muscle on her, get her stronger, and get that weight off for good.

When I arrived at the gym, I made a beeline for the soccer fields and did about 6 minutes of bitter pill. It is really amazing because by the second " gather" my head felt much clearer.i did not feel any of that nervous energy that I felt on the drive to the gym. The session went really well with her today.

Tonight I did 31 minutes of bear standing. I played the music playlist that I normally play while practicing my Taiji forms. Tomorrow is my long shift working the wellness area, so I will normally eat a snack and do the 108 form one time on my break. I have not practiced the Guang Ping form in a few days. Of the 2 forms, Guang Ping is my favorite. My 108 form is really a bastard form. Most of it is the form that I learned from Brian, but I have little homages to everyone else who taught me the form, including the wushu teacher who gave me my first ever kungfu lesson. 

Sifu and I had a talk about forms. Since he encouraged me to teach "YMCA Tai Chi" as a way to get people off their couches, I would like to further alter both forms when I have a better feeling & understanding of Taiji energy/ principles. If people object, I will just call them my personal expressions of Guang Ping Yang style or Yang Cheng-Fu's 108.
