The tensegrity model is a great abstraction of our body structure. Neuroanatomy offers deeper insight into movement. Neither approach imparts the specific understanding that enables us to be more powerful and comfortable in our own skin. UCB Program’s 5 mental models of transformation each contain a unique structural ‘couple’. Each couple is used as a mental object supporting moving meditation. These mental objects are used as keys that unlock specific internal perceptions (interoception). These subjective feelings are consistent with efficient power generation. The more clear these perceptions, the more efficient the power generation, the more integrated the movement. The more integrated the movement, the more comfortable you feel. I consider applications of this integrated movement to be examples of ‘coupled power’.
