Class Archives Now At 569 Hours.

Crazy that simply recording regular training adds up to a pretty hefty number. 569 hours. I don't record everything, maybe 6 hours per week on average. Still, 94 weeks of continuous streaming if you played everything back to back. You know what's really fascinating? There is very little repeated material. :)

J Breath

Started practicing the J breath and when I exhale but keep the drop to Dan Tien I get a vibration. The vibration is through the bones. The drop is still pretty weak. But, by holding onto Dan Tien point, I've been able to keep the energy going down much better than before. Apparently, this is my guess, all my singing (using my self taught technique) had really strengthened the solar plexus area of the diaphragm and it pulls everything there since the perineum is very weak by comparison. Also, the rest of the diaphragm is unbalanced.

Vibrating/shaky feeling

Today, while working with a patient, I was personally working on maintaining relaxation whole holding on to the 6 harmonies. First, this was more difficult. Lol. I was able to keep the shoulder/hip better than the elbow/knee. And the hand/foot just wasn't there in motion. It's been about thirty minutes since I ended the training and I've had a shakiness/vibrating feeling inside my body. I'm not overtly shaking not do I feel bad. What is this? Is it normal?

Tai Chi Boost - Get Certified

NOTE: PT's and other touch-based practitioners. If you want to grow your business of helping and healing, I have built Tai Chi Boost as a  certification program to better engage the allopathic medical professional.  Frankly, MD's, psychiatrists, talk therapists and other clinicians are completely uninterested in how badass you are in the ring. In fact, your fight credentials and marital expertise will work against you.

Handmade Neijia Training Tools

Straight Curved

Hi: Happy New Year! I've decided to offer handmade neijia training tools. Watch here for limited production runs. Volume is dependent on my time and demand. I will include instructional materials on their use.

Base of the neck

As an ongoing student, I get the privilege to train using the methods that Sifu Kelley provides. I've been following the teaching on the pearls and core filling. Something that I've encountered is the realization of how much tension I have in my shoulders holding them up against gravity. Also, I've seen how I use the hydraulic pressure of the core to push up my crown from the front. The latter probably contributes to the former. As I let go of this in training, I get a taste of suspending the crown and dropping the shoulders.

Ring my bell

Small Circulation

I had a great conversation with sifu today.

Me:

Okay. New thing. Lol. From the center of the right kua to about 2/3 of the way to the center, moving towards the navel I've been having a vibrational feeling. It feeling like when a bell is rung out a tuning fork is struck. It lasts from 5-30 seconds. I can't place what it may be resonating with, if anything.

Me:

Scratch that. Tapping that area sets off the vibration. It's interesting.I'm feeling it up into the lower abdomen now too. It doesn't feel very deep.

Internal Power and Cardio Health

Students regularly ask me if they have to stop doing cardio or strength training in order to gain 'Internal Power'.

This is an excellent question that touches on every aspect of our training. I'll be succinct.
