Thur. Oct. 6: Great practice today. Did almost every exercise even though slightly tired. But as practice went on, became renewed as 13 points and qualities began to come together a little. Typically, I'll fidget around with distances...
When reviewing the first lesson of stage two in a particular drill the alignment gave me a slight feeling of feet wrapping themselves. Sifu, do you think that this may be in the refinement direction or should I move forward?
Tues. Oct. 4: Good practice today, did less, but better quality I think. So here is the process (when it's working, lol) for me in the body, please someone add or subtract in regards to your own experiences, and Sifu if something is to be taken out or added to......

In my meditation practice I’ve found that small adjustments in the torso make a big difference on the neck tension and the pressure feeling inside the belly – certainly I remember the basic requirement of not forcing the breath.
My inquiring is linked to my observations above and directly connected with cushion’s height and weight distribution between the back and both knees in any of traditional meditation postures.
I had been a student of ILC with Sifu Kelley Graham for less than six months when I decided that I would travel to Malaysia last month. For those who know me,this was remarkable on many levels. First, I am a notorious cheapskate and forking out the cash for an international plane ticket was quite out of character for me. Second, although I have traveled to many places around the world in my life, it was never at my leisure. I had never taken a vacation. Also, I was in the midst of multiple projects none of which were even close to completion.
Exchanging ideas with Patrick here at Chi Factory made me think that’s preferable to force a smile than having a severe face. Thanks Patrick!
But the simpler way to address smile as an integral part of practice is – as usual – to follow the comprehensive sifu’s instructions and teachings so clear and easy to understand.
