Mon. Jan. 30: Beginning to see readiness. Neutral is neutral... there's nothing else to do from neutral except for the movement. If I have to change in order to move, or... if something has to be done... then i am not within neutral, and my movement is contrived. Keeping the balance beam line is crucial for me because my (all of them) psoas muscles are a joke, they are stiff as a dead person's.

After completion stage two that’s my impression. If anyone wants to take advantage and guidance of someone who his much ahead as sifu Kelley is and who has the knowledge and the skill to impart high quality instruction to those of us who practiced some martial art and want to deepen and refine his actual practice, we have simply to drop what was thought to be correct and acquired.
Tues. Jan. 24: Using previous class vids as practice sessions. At first thought this may not be adequate as some of the later videos/classes introduced newer exercises that perhaps I should be doing daily but Sifu says just follow along the classes for practice. I found that regardless of whether it was stage 1 week 3 or the last class of stage 2...

This really annoys me, and I don't know why. Thursday's class contained a lengthy exploration of the yin triangles. We were feeling the triangle from the tantien to the quas, then expanding that out in both directions, so that we went down to the feet and up to the sternum (upper center of mass,) and eventually up to the yin half of the crown point, each successive climb up picking up the more lateral points, such as the shoulder quas, and each triangle running all the way down to the feet. Each step of the way we were to feel this foot to increasingly distant point as a real connection,
Thank you!
Enjoy.

With rare exceptions, which I’m certain that may exist, what’s used to call internal arts are scarce in offering a coherent system which could guide a student.
I had this perception when struggling to understand the reasoning behind the I Liq Chuan system considering stage 1 and stage 2 lessons as we can see here at Chi Factory. Like the others practitioners of martial arts (being internal or external) and related disciplines I have only my mind/body tool.

Thur. Dec. 29: Things are starting to gel a little, beginning to feel it come together just a touch. Feet merely touching (so important)... ALL 13 points... down the front, up the back... wrapping the big toe... smile on the corners... i-qi-li... breathing from perineum...ease,ease,ease... spiraling...elbows always wrapping down... open awareness, open awareness... meat must always remain sunk!
