I have been slacking on these entries ever since I hurt my right calf muscle last week. I had been feeling like my calves were getting a real workout from my attempted "bear" standing last week while really focusing on wrapping the big toe. My injury did not come from my standing practice, but while training a client. I had her performing 20 kettelbell swings followed by a shuttle run continuously for 20 minutes. Her workout partners left her hanging, so she asked if I would do that portion of the workout with her.

Couldn't be more excited about so many new entries and all the recent blogging!! THis is what this place was meant for... it's more helpful than you can possibly know to have your fellow practitioners' thoughts there for you to read and relate to. And as I said already, not just for newer folks but for all of us....there's never 'been there done that' in my experience, there's always something more, something new at every level, even stage1 week 1 brings new stuff each time i do it.

2 weeks in

It is my 2nd week practicing and I am definitely enjoying it, but I also have that feeling that you have when you start a new job and don't know what you're doing. Like if I was learning how to dance online instead of in-person. I feel like I'm doing some things wrong, but it's ok. My body is not that sensitive, so for instance when doing the rocking exercise I only feel tension in the fronts of my thighs. I don't feel it all the way up to my neck. Doing the North, South, East, West exercise I don't feel the tension all throughout my body, I only feel it in the forearms.
