More Standing

This curiculum is FANTASTIC!!! So many things are coming along that my entire experience of any traning is dramatically different. I've been working everyday on the Standing. Getting the back stop is getting easier and esier. Getting the U is becoming more natural, but still not easy. Apparently, my hips were way off and the inner core conditioning was not what it could have been to find that awareness. But, everything is changing. Strangely, with newer, deeper sensations the training is even more vigorous and difficult.

Core filling

Since beginning this program I started feeling things in my torso that I've never felt before. I thought I had some understanding of filling. I would release the soft tissue and would feel the belly "fill up" and it would feel firm. I could feel a line down the front of my torso but I recently realized I was not feeling anything below the level of the surface. But, when my belly felt full I could not breathe  very deeply. My belly felt too full to be able make room for the breath.Several days ago I started being able the "down the front" in a new way.

Standing

I've been training with the Standing for that last two weeks and I have been surprised that my ability to feel what's going on inside. I'll get into that in a different blog entry. What I've found that this stuff is HARD!!!  I was surprised that my neck and upper traps are sore. Also, Im having a hard time doing all of it. I can reliably get the backstop. I can release my left knee cap with no issues but righty doesn't like to let go. I can get the hips nearly into the right position without the legs bending. I've got some stretching to do.
