Core filling

Since beginning this program I started feeling things in my torso that I've never felt before. I thought I had some understanding of filling. I would release the soft tissue and would feel the belly "fill up" and it would feel firm. I could feel a line down the front of my torso but I recently realized I was not feeling anything below the level of the surface. But, when my belly felt full I could not breathe  very deeply. My belly felt too full to be able make room for the breath.Several days ago I started being able the "down the front" in a new way.

Standing

I've been training with the Standing for that last two weeks and I have been surprised that my ability to feel what's going on inside. I'll get into that in a different blog entry. What I've found that this stuff is HARD!!!  I was surprised that my neck and upper traps are sore. Also, Im having a hard time doing all of it. I can reliably get the backstop. I can release my left knee cap with no issues but righty doesn't like to let go. I can get the hips nearly into the right position without the legs bending. I've got some stretching to do.

Stretch down the back?

So during training the other night it felt like my breath traveled down my spine to the kidney area into the lower abdomen and filled it up. This would have the effect, if I let it, of opening me up stand straight when I inhale and then come down onto a deeper c shape on the exhale. The kidney area at the sides and lower back along the spine was very explicit.
