The breathing in our art

Is it just me, or does the alignment of our structure in ILC make our breathing something that is like a combination of natural/diaphragmatic breathing and reverse/condensing breath? Unlike natural breath we don't pooch out the abdomen only, but the back also expands and we have a condensing at dan tien. and unlike reverse breathing we don't force the condensing through contraction.

Bitter pill

I haven't felt well today due to allergies. My whole body felt a little bound up so I decided to do some training and bitter pill.   During the harvest, I noted that my fingers, in the area of the pads, felt full and a little heavy. The yang surface felt open and light or radiating. The rest of the yin surfaces of the hands felt like there were elastic bands pulling the fingers in and there was suction into the palm. I think this all fits! Yay! lol

In the moment

Sifu told me a while back that the purpose of the throwing hands training was to teach us about the completeness of the moment. Well, my brain melted and I had no idea what the meant. He asked, "Does that make sense?" I replied, while my mind was stupified, "Yeah, yeah." LOL NOT! But, I have been thinking on this and I found that in each movement I am also carrying the tension of the previous moment into that movement. Or, I am anticipating and becmoing tense in another unecessary way.
